Browsing data. When you visit the site, the servers that host it automatically record technical data needed to deliver the pages and keep them secure: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, browser and operating system. These data are not used to identify you or build profiles. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). They are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period for security and operational purposes.
Data you send us. The contact form on this site does not send or store anything: it opens your own email client with a pre-filled message. If you write to us, we use your email address and the information you choose to include to reply and, where relevant, to take steps before a contract at your request. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures (art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (art. 6(1)(f)). We keep this correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and then for the periods required by law.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.
This website does not use cookies — neither technical, analytics nor profiling cookies — and does not include third-party tracking, advertising or social-media plugins. Fonts and images are served from our own site, not from third-party services. For this reason no cookie banner is shown.
The site stores one technical value in your browser’s session storage, which is never sent to us or to anyone else:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
nt-intro | Session storage (first party) | Remembers that the home-page logo animation has already played, so it is not repeated on every visit | Deleted when you close the browser |
This is a strictly necessary technical tool, which under the Italian Data Protection Authority’s guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools (10 June 2021) does not require consent. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings. If we ever introduce analytics or other non-technical cookies, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first.
The website is hosted on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd processes browsing data on our behalf as data processor under the Microsoft Products and Services Data Protection Addendum. Our email is provided by Microsoft 365. Personal data may also be accessed by our staff and by advisers bound by confidentiality, only where necessary.
The site is hosted in the West Europe Azure region. To deliver pages quickly, static content may be served from Microsoft data centres outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data are transferred outside the EEA, Microsoft relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, as described in its Data Protection Addendum.
This site links to external websites, such as our LinkedIn page and partner websites. They have their own privacy and cookie policies, which apply once you leave this site.
Under articles 15–22 GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Write to info@newthread.it or certmail@pec.newthread.it.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
We may update this notice, for example if we add new features to the site. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
